Description

Marketing is all about relationships. In an orthopedic practice of any size, that means every staff member is an ambassador for the business and the brand whether in the office or out in public. 

In this module, we’ll explore different marketing avenues such as social media, advertising, health fairs and special events. You will come away with some ideas about how you can best contribute to the reputation of a successful, thriving practice. 

Learning Objectives 

When the learner has completed this module, they will be able to: 

 

  • Discuss the purpose of marketing the orthopedic practice. 

  • Describe marketing activities. 

  • Participate in representing the practice to the community.

Lyndsay Sullivan has been in Business Development and Marketing for almost 6 years and has practiced as an athletic trainer for 17 years all with physicians of Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee in Franklin, TN. Lyndsay holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University and a Master of Science Degree in Sports Medicine from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
