One orthopedic clinic's experience transforming Surgery Scheduling processes from paper to paperless-- all while improving employee engagement, organization productivity, and the patient's experience. In response to AAOE Member requests, this webinar is designed to demonstrate the electronic system we built to address a common problem it seems plagues most of us: a reliance on inefficient, time-consuming, and nearly-impossible-to-manage paper-based processes to schedule surgeries, create certain Pre-Op orders, and generally move information to stakeholders in real-time, unencumbered by fax or geography. All of this while realizing a tangible ROI measured in weeks or quarters, not years... if not days.
Learning Objectives
-
Identify alternatives to paper-based processes
-
Learn ways to re-think how one organization tackled the myriad challenges associated with disparate medical record systems, reliance on paper and fax, and the over-arching pressure to reduce operating costs and improving quality and experience for the patient
-
Discover strategies to overcome barriers, challenges, and opposition
