Successfully conducted AAOE Conference in Dallas TX on 10/29/21

Successfully moved from original date to Fall so it could be in person due to Covid-19.

Advocacy Council

Continue to partner with MGMA and AAOS on Governmental Affairs issues

AAOE has representation from the Athletic Trainers in Physician Practice organization.

AAOE has representation on the National Association for Rural Health Care Policy Committee and can work on initiatives that may be mutually beneficial.

Continues to be interest in having a bigger presence at Capitol Hill
Data Analytics and Benchmarking

79 practices participated in the benchmarking survey for data year 2020.

Launched the results in December 2021

Council members and staff devoted significant time to reviewing the data to ensure accuracy which caused the reports to be delayed.
IRAB

Continues to be made up of representatives from vendor companies who apply via an application process with emphasis on equal distribution of product and service.

Created a Young and New Professionals track for the 2022 conference.

Focused on how to get their voice heard across all the councils and have a connection to the Board.

Encouraging professional development for members who are defined as those under the age of 40 or have five or fewer years of experience in orthopedic practice management.
